What are our customers saying about us?

It’s important to us to be transparent with our reviews, even on our own website. Renovations are difficult, and complicated. We do everything we can to use our experience and expertise to give you the best experience possible, but we’re also human. This list of reviews pulls at random from our Google Business Profile. We haven’t hidden any reviews on this page because the great ones are the encouragement we need to keep doing what we do, and the not-so-great ones remind us to stay motivated to do better.

We had a wonderful experience with Gateway! They understood right away what we had in mind and they delivered in spades! The whole process was easy and they took pains to explain everything so that we always knew what to expect. We recommend them highly.

My husband (Yuki) was working as a designer at Gateway Kitchen & Bath (2000-2007), so I had confidence. I cannot stress enough about the importance of this renovation, as I must use a wheelchair to function 24/7 in the house. The custom cabinets, organizing & scheduling, the qualified trade people, follow-ups throughout the entire project were all extremely important for us. With Gateway, we felt comfortable what to expect during the project and when, and most trade people were very approachable and explained the details well and why.

I was not only impressed with Gateway’s attention to detail in each step, but also with managing the entire process with some many (but important) details. This project was finished with a minor delay, and we had a good functional kitchen for Christmas and the New Year holidays.

My life is now a lot easier, thanks to the lower countertops, the wheelchair access under the sink and the cooktop, the larger navigation space around the island, to mention some of them. Thanks for your great work!

Our original kitchen became beyond my wife’s physical tolerance from her wheelchair for some years. We then contacted Jane at Gateway Kitchen & Bath (and one other place). I was always impressed with her designing knowledge and experience with the trade people during the time I was one of her colleagues. Jane was very helpful in redesigning a standard kitchen to a handicap-friendly one, and in recommending many right choices for the new look we wanted to achieve.

During the construction, I was reacquainted with many of my former colleagues and the trade people, who did excellent work. What a pleasure to see these people renovating our kitchen! Thanks so much for your caring work.

So smooth from beginning to end. Quality work, prompt communication, want to make their customers happy without pressuring you to spend more than your budget. The design team will somehow read your mind for what your dream space looks like and take it three steps higher. Just awesome.

We had a complete kitchen and dining area remodel completed by Gateway, this included all design work, plumbing, electrical, cabinet install, and painting. Our overall experience was very positive. The design Team is truly excellent, communicates promptly and was very excited about the project we had in mind. It was truly a pleasure to work with Kaitlyn and Chloe on realizing our dream kitchen design. The quality of the work done by staff was also excellent, and we were very pleased with the cabinet work. As with any project, there are hiccups along the way, these were communicated to us and any additional charges were clearly communicated. Toward the end, however, the project management went a bit off the rails causing some frustration. Items were incorrectly measured or poorly painted, and communication between all parties was rather poor. Overall a good experience, but communication with clients could be improved upon.

This company was amazing from start to finish. We had our kitchen gutted and totally redone by Gateway. Quality of their design and product is excellent. We had many options to choose from and the design team’s knowledge was awesome. The schedule of construction was accurate ; there were very few snags thru the process. Every one of the team and trades they used were professional, friendly and tidy. This is a rock star company!!

We recently had a bathroom renovation done by Gateway. Jane and Ciel, talented designers, were wonderful and warm, and made our vision come to life! It was a small project, yet we still received care and attention. Communication was excellent throughout the month-long project. I highly recommend them, and we are planning on choosing them for our next renovation!

Our experience with Gateway Kitchen and Bath has been extremely positive. Our designer, Jane and Ciel, worked with us to help us choose what suited our family’s needs and budget. Walter ensured our project remained on schedule, in fact it was completed ahead of time. The installer Dan worked diligently and installed our lower kitchen cupboards quickly. When dealing with the employees at Gateway I felt like part of the family, I felt valued. I am very much looking forward to Phase 2 of having the upper cabinets installed. The quality of the cupboards is definitely an improvement from the Kitchencraft we had before!this upgrade will last us many happy years.

Gateway did a wonderful job installing our new kitchen. The team was very professional and easy to deal with all the way from the design phase through install and our final sign-off. Communication and scheduling of the various trades coming in to do their work was excellent. All of the work done was high quality and delivered on-time to meet our project schedule.
